Malas are beautiful, multi-functional pieces of art. Originally, Malas were used to assist in meditation practices. The 108 beads are touched individually while reciting an individual mantra.
Malas are also made of crystals, which are believed to release healing vibrations. Crystals remind us to take a moment and breathe. The vibrations of the crystals benefit an array of life's manifestations, such as, stress, balancing emotions, sparking creativity, affecting dreams, and most importantly to reconnect you to the power within your mind. By touching each crystal you take 108 moments to spark a vibration, connecting your mind, to your body, to your soul.
The Artist, Laney was born and raised in India to Canadian and American missionaries. She moved to the States in her early teens and finally settled in Hawaii in 2004 which is where she discovered her love and talent for art, colors, painting and all things crafty. Laney has been painting, muraling and creating art for many years and will gladly decorate any large surface that is given to her. Most recently she discovered the sparkly joy of crystals. The process of finding, counting, stringing, knotting the beads has become a kind of fun therapy. “My goal with these is to provide beautiful, functional, affordable art that everyone can enjoy. I love sharing my art and hobby and I hope you love these Malas as much as I do.”
We don't let money guide our decisions, or our lives. Our business is driven by the desire to share the beauty in the world. We implore you to use the Malas to carve out a piece of time for YOU. To take 108 moments for just you. Breathe.
